"Where words fail, music speaks"- Hans Christian Anderson
My Playlist:
Adele- Send my love
Beyoncé- Pretty hurts
Chance the rapper- Favorite song
G eazy- Waspy
Hoodie Allen- You are not a Robot
First off,
picking only five songs was the hardest decision ever. I picked these songs because they represent the variety of music that I listen too. My mood plays a big role in my music selection. If I am in a good mood I will listen to Chance, G eazy, or Hoodie Allen. However; if I am in charge of the aux cord I will play G eazy. I do this because I fear that other people won’t know or be big fans of Chance or Hoodie Allen. If I am feeling sassy I will listen to Beyoncé. I have found that both Adele and Beyoncé are pretty good at helping to heal broken hearts.
Because my playlist has such a variety I believe that it accurately reveals my open mind and go with the flow personality. I am very open to hearing other people’s opinions and trying new things. The fact that I listen to music according to my mood also reveals how deeply in touch I am with my emotions. My introverted-ness and tendency to put up a front is represented by the select songs that I share with others.
By listening to my playlist people are able see that I listen to a variety of mainstream artist. I don’t think that my playlist at face value says anything about me. I don’t think that most people would be able to pick up on my introverted personality by listening to my playlist. In fact, I think It portrays the opposite. Instead they may assume that I am just your basic white girl who fantasizes over G eazy and thinks that she can dance like Beyoncé.
